Continuous study for information security

When can you stop studying information security? Could it be that when you conquer your first vacancy in information security, you can stop studying now?

The information security professional is one of the information technology careers, which requires knowledge in different areas, in order to reach the final objective.

This is because all areas of technology and even outside of it, but related, need security and protection.

Therefore, when planning your career in information security, the practice of studies should become part of your routine as a habit of physical exercise or eating.

Doesn’t mean you’re going to “kill” yourself studying for the rest of your life. It’s not a sentence. There will be plenty of time to enjoy life and family but, it’s fair to say; that you will have to put in a little more effort than in other areas of technology.

In this episode, Fabio Sobiecki talks about people who think they no longer need to study, because they have already conquered “their place in the sun”.
